Bei diesen Messern unterscheiden wir zwischen Dickicht- und Grasmessern. Dabei gilt, je höher die Zahl der Zähne ist, desto robuster darf das zu schneidende Material sein. Unabhängig davon, ob es sich um ein Dickicht- oder Grasmesser handelt, ist es wichtig, dass das Messer immer scharf ist, um beim Schneiden ein gutes Ergebnis zu erhalten. Bei sehr robusten Arbeiten sollten Sie außerdem darauf achten, dass ihr Freischneider genügend Leistung hat.<\/p><p>Dickichtmesser mit z.B 3 oder 4 Zähnen sind optimal für stöhrendes Dickicht, Gestrüpp, Dorngewächse oder Ähnliches. Ein Messer mit 80 Zähnen hingegen kann verholzte Sträucher oder Geäst problemlos schneiden, ist jedoch nicht für normales Gras geeignet. Ein Grasmesser ist wiederrum optimal, um z.B Heu zu mähen.<\/p><p>Damit alles richtig passt und funktioniert ist es wichtig beim Kauf des Messers ein Messer mit den richtigen Maßen und entsprechend des zu bearbeitenden Materials zu wählen.
